These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of VeinTrack (the “app”), provided by La Jolla Vein & Vascular (“we”, “us”, or “the practice”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The App Is Not a Substitute for Medical Advice

VeinTrack is a health-tracking and education tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition or treatment. Do not disregard professional medical advice because of something you read or see in the app.

Eligibility

Access to the app is limited to invited or authorized patients of the practice. You must be at least 12 years of age to use the app. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Acceptable Use and Account Responsibility

You agree to:

  • Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Provide accurate information when logging your health data.
  • Not misuse the app or attempt to access data that does not belong to you.

Scores Are Estimates, Not a Diagnosis

Any scores shown in the app, including the risk score, VCSS severity, and overall health score, are general estimates provided for informational purposes only. They are not a diagnosis and should not replace the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional.

Account Termination and Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the app’s Settings screen. We may also suspend or revoke access if you violate these Terms or if your access is no longer authorized by the practice.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that your data will always be accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the practice nor its providers shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
